I think that this is a reliable source from an expert at that field that could contrebute a lot to our understanding of the subject and add a different view to rehab.

The author of the book, David Farabe, Ph.D is a Psychologist at the university of California, Los Angeles and the Director of the Integrated Substance Abuse Program (ISAP) juvenile justice reaearch group. Prior to this he served as lead analyst for criminal justice research at the Texas Commission on Alcohol and Drug Abuse (1992-1995), and as Assistant Professor of Psychiatry and Research Scientist at the University of Kentucky Center on Drug and Alcohol Research (1995-1997).

The publisher of the book is The The American Enterprise Institute which is an independent, nonprofit organization supported primarily by grants and contributions from foundations, corporations, and individuals.
