Evaluations of Peter, Chris Mania

I agree with Mr. Peter in this article. He says, "Detention without trial is a very serious matter. It involves taking away the liberty of the individual without total accountability on the part of the authority doing so." I agree with this fully. Who is to determine who is considered dangerous enough to incarcerate without formal charges and what if they person/group is wrong? Imagine what would happen in America if someone was held without charges and then found to be completely innocent. Anyway, Peter points out how Tanzania's law dates back to their colonial times. He also points out how the people of Tanzania are against this law. I feel this is a good article to show what would happen in America if we did this. - Contributed by light_switch
