Grad Office Admin Team (GOAT) Swiki

Meetings: Mondays at Noon, CCB 120 by default.


We need to add some mgmt structure to this, but it should help keep us on the same page (pun).

I (finally) went and pulled the tasks from Trac that I wasn't sure about
  1. Documentation - Steven "Make sure documentation is sufficient for a pass-down."
  2. Data Quality - Leo (No description, I assume this was the student/faculty/admin checklist we went over last semester so I think it's done)
/academics/grad
  1. web crawl to determine health of site, external dependencies
  2. review/removal of all dependencies to student.services
  3. find/reconstitute funding page - redo fellowship pages
  4. go over HCC/HCI pages submitted by David's student

  1. Fix becky problem - CHECK!
  2. Hook up HCC test forms to test db - CHECK!
  3. Develop a "checklist" for committing the current set of changes and rolling them out - CHECK!
  4. Test the HCC interface (show beth/leo/david) - CHECK!

Instructions for Updating the Live Site

  1. Log into copenhagen.cc.gatech.edu
  2. Navigate to the live site directory: /var/apache/htdocs/cs_grad_office
  3. Execute the svn update command /usr/cs_grad_office/svn120/bin/svn up
  4. Check live site to make sure you didn't screw it up
