Description: Each of the above pictures was taken with an handheld camera. I started with the bottom view and then moved the camera up and took snaps. I did the same thing for other facades, but this stitched image had the best results.

Goal: To give the viewer an impression of being on the sidewalk looking up at the building. It is very hard to photograph the entire facade from such a close distance (and angle) as to give the user a sense of the size of the building. I would like to try to fix the way that the images are stitched to give more of the feeling of being overshadowed by the buildings along the sidewalk.

From the five pictures, I created a panorama with Canon PhotoStitch (which turns out to be the best facility I've found so far for OS X) and came up with the following. It is a fairly good composite, but you can see some artifacts in the vertical lines. I like that I can see the whole building at once, and it feels more like a small person looking up at a building - which is a perspective I've always been interested in.

(Again this is scaled ...)
