our biggest problem with the project was that we could not think of a project that was interesting enough for us. We wanted to do something "different". We did not want to create another photo manipulation but wanted to create something that people would want to see over and over again because of the quality of the work and also the sense of humor involved in it. We ended up abandoning the idea of manipulation of landscapes on premiere but switched out idea to creating a motion storyboard on premiere. we have gotten together and came up with a story of a young girl who comes to barcelona for a "certain goal". this premiere clip will be composed of several layers of pictures and wav files. a lot of transition effects will be used also. i do not want to go into depth about the storyboard since it is going to be a surprize but i can assure you that we are clear about what we want to do. for this project, we will be integrating lots of body and face shots of all three of us, combination of pictures from all around barcelona, and layering of diffent sounds, both our voices and background music. this will all be done in premiere and will be appoximately two to three minutes long. from this project, we really hope to understand how premiere works, and also learn how to translate our ideas into a computer file in an efficient way. we have already begun to use the premiere program and understand how the program works. our next step is to come up with a final story board and begin taking pictures.
