Update 1 for Crazy Corners

• Roles of Different team-mates (if only person, lay out the tasks only)
  • TASK 1: Take possible photographs for use in the project
  • TASK 2: Create a mock up
  • TASK 3: Research method for implementation
  • TASK 4: Analyze photographs for feasability of all the elements of the project.

• Problems to DATE
  • Occlusion
    • After examining the photographs, many of the intended features that I planned to extract and combine are occluded. Mainly anything on the lower levels of the buildings. Instead of including the occluded lower levels, I have decided to concentrate mainly on windows.
  • My computer is really slow
    • I promise it is. I have been working with images that I've shrunk beforehand to get around this problem. I plan on doing most of the work in matlab, which I can run from the CoC machines, so hopefully I can deal with full resolution images in the future.

• A Time line
  • June 29: Progress so far
  • July 5: Will show the ability to identify windows within images of flat fronted chamfered corners.
  • July 10: Will show the ability to replace windows within a given image with random windows from other corners.
