Please note: DO YOUR OWN WORK! You are welcome to talk to others about your work and even get help debugging, but each person should create their own Python file, their own work.
The Con's go first. Each member of the team speaks for NO MORE THAN THREE MINUTES (rapid fire). The team should decide beforehand who is going to make what points.
The Pro's go next. Again, each member gets THREE MINUTES, and again, the teams should figure out the strategy beforehand.
There will be a 10 minute break for the two teams to prepare rebuttals.
The Pro's get to rebut first, for 5 minutes.
The Con's get to rebut next, for 5 minutes.
5-10 minute discussion and a class vote for who won.
Grading for debates:
We're looking for a rational argument that draws on content from the book and the course discussions.
The rebuttals must respond to issues raised in the presentation of the argument.
We will compute individual grades based on individual presentation and the group performance.
