  • Dec., 1999: We'll begin by reading the book: How People Learn: Brain, Mind, Experience, and School. The bookstore might have it; if not, amazon does, I believe. We'll be overviewing what we know about the cognition of learning (using that book and supplementary materials) and then looking at the pathway from what we know to making things work in the classroom – focusing on the CSILE project, our project, and one more that I haven't chosen yet (perhaps Bransford's, perhaps KIE, perhaps project-based learning at Michigan).
