Don't Work -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=

Bummer that the DVD doesn't work, even under Classic mode. Mark Guzdial

It should be supported in the upcoming 10.1 release! Volker Stolz

Many games, especially ones that use gamma switching. Try some games for a good time. Vin Fiano

Work -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=

Pine, GLUT (library), XFree86, a few different VNC viewers, obviously the included emacs, apache, ssh, pretty much any POSIX stye program works. Vin Fiano

Most of GNU Unix Tools Work too!! Ravi Ruddarraju

OmniWeb's a great native browser. You can check out the preview releases at ftp://ftp.omnigroup.com/pub/outgoing/sneakypeek – usually a new one every couple days or so. Chris Campbell

PVM (Parallel Virtual Machine) Works. This is a parallel processing program very useful for multiprocessing between different platforms and different languages as well. http://www.csm-ornl.gov/pvm Ravi Ruddarraju

File sharing across resnet network works. Go to connect to server (Go->connect to server) and type in the following:

smb://workgroup;computername/sharename

Make sure workgroup exists by going over to browse.resnet.gatech.edu or asking the owner of the machine you are trying to connect. I think all this is case sensitive. Make sure computername, sharename follow the case. Just
fiddle around with the case. Ravi Ruddarraju

One word – "fink"

http://fink.sourceforge.net/

Almost any piece of UNIX software that is available for Mac OS X / Darwin is available using fink. (and it is easy to use)
