Abandonware
Abandonware is defined as software that is “abandoned” by its original vendors and manufacturers. It is generally applied to games that are old and no longer available commercially, though the definition is quite loose for some people. It is similar to retrogaming (See Retro Gaming/Emulation), though generally it refers to old computer software that would still run on today’s computers. (such as old DOS games).
