Machinima
Machinima is the creation of movie clips with footage from games. In some cases it only refers to editing and adding additional audio (such as a voice-over) while in others it means using a 3d game engine while creating everything else (3d models, maps, textures, etc.) In other words, machinima is filmmaking withina realt-time, 3D virtual environments.
