- I’m not finished with the menus yet. I have to fix menu33 still. Also, menu13 will need to be redone because no one has a flat background cutout of it without the text. Every rendering has text on it. All my changes thus far are reflected in the 09.05.2002 folder on your desktop. Menu11 and menu12 have slight deviations that will be quick to fix tomorrow but I did not notice until testing right now. I will need this laptop or the lab Mac to finish it tomorrow.
09.06.2002 F :: 9a-1p
- Finished redoing images for home.htm
- Items 1 & 2 done/postponed

09.09.2002 M :: 9a-1:15p
- Cleaned up timeline.htm code.
- Added preLoad for mouse over images (don't know why that wasn't there in the first place).
- Recoded table parameters to absolute sizes instead of percentages so that it worked in Netscape 4.08 without gaps.
- Added new div layer for bottom text so it's not jutted up against the left side of the screen.
- Researched ways to have user input their CD-ROM drive letter on setup then dynamically pull that drive letter in the HTML code to pull movies from a CD-ROM disk so that we dont' have to install 1+GB of files on a user's system.
- Image names and sizes for new Science timline are listed under Web Development

- Continued researching ways to have user input their CD-ROM drive letter on setup then dynamically pull that drive letter in the HTML code to pull movies from a CD-ROM disk so that we dont' have to install 1+GB of files on a user's system.
- I went through all options available to me in the VISE 3.5.1 software on my PC laptop. Found nothing that would be similiar to our end-goal. I have written to MindVisions tech support explaining:
- We want to package a minimal HTML-based application to be installed on the user's machine that will access an additional CD that contains various movie files. We want to prompt the user during the installation for the drive letter of their CD-ROM drive, then pull that letter via a dynamic variable in the HTML code to access the CD movie files from the appropiate location (obviously we would not know that location prior to installation else we could hard-code it in).
- I am waiting on their response. Their help page said that they usual reply within a day.
- Recommended tabs for new site

- This is what I have planned to get done for the weekend. I'll be able to upload it to the server and have you a disk with the current content as well by Monday morning. If anything else is needed for Monday, just send me an email. Please keep in mind though that I'll be spending most of my time with my girlfriend as she's laid up in bed and still not doing too well. I put in an extra hour today, and if I do 3 over the weekend, that will make up for the 4 I missed on Wed. Then I'll be caught up for my 20 hours this week. I'll check my email frequently.
