1. Use moving timeline to show how an hour is elapsing. In future, note where marks are. In far future, change start and end times of marks.
2. Would be nice to have a Comments button, which brings up an entire text field.
3. Have the Jackrabbit on each line, rather than as a full button in the player. Make the Jackrabbit green in Play's field showing the Playlist or Loglist.
4. Would be nice to be able to see what you left in Mark, if you went to play for example, even if you did not save it. Right now, you return to a blank page.
5. Undo, Redo need to be implemented.
6. Saving files in Excel and the Standard Log format (that was decribed in a paper by Roy Pea that I gave you a while back) would be big.

1. Collect data on accuracy of system's ability to skip to different times: 0:10, 0:20... 9:20, and so on.
2. Find out about portable MPEG-2 recorders – tell me prices, capabilities and differences with our current system.
3. Recommend which TiVo system to buy, and compare to related hardware systems. What capabilities will these system give that we don't have now (e.g., WiFi)? What features do we lose (recording to DVD disk for archiving purposes)?
4. I get the sneaking suspicion that the separation of Mark and Edit modes is something akin to approaches used 30 years ago with line editors – you edited in one area of the program, and then applied those changes to the document, which you then displayed. I am wondering if you could shift from Log to Edit within the Mark mode, and shift to Edit mode when creating Lists, which is a separate and legitimate function, I believe. We could even Edit when listening to items in Play mode. In each case, I see an Edit subwindow appearing at the bottom, displaying the info of a selected entry – whether in Mark, List or Play modes. How doable would this be?
5. What did you say about naming PGs on the hybrid recorder? Can this be done with the PDA, and will this help in our enterprise?
6. Instructions Page: Line 1 - Use Bold Font at the same size as the LogIR font in the blue tab. Change text of this line to: Getting Started. Swap Edit and List icons at the bottom of the starter page.
7. Look for more iconic (less sharp) arrows from the collection of art in my office (called Art Explosion).
8. Test for duplicating PG/M #s and remind users if there is a duplication.
9. Ask users changing the PG # whether they want to change all PG #s within that log by the same amount.
10. Please document answers to these questions: Can LogIR be like a dynamic list. Is there a maximum size for collected laws? Can we show dae/create/last versions of LogIR files? How can we archive a collection of PGs onto a DVD, and can we then access a DVD movie using LogIR? Can we save dated files that then can be opened to control and replay such a DVD?
