4. In Getting Started, can you come up with a convention for the Purple navigation bar that will let you put Highlights for Teachers -Science -Tech Ed -Math. We need a similar convention for what appears below Assessment & Standards. In the Teal Bar, I would like a page for National Standards and then various State Standards MA, NJ, NY, VA and GA. I don't have any great ideas for this – propose something and then let's talk about it.
5. We need a Glossary in the Gold Bar area. To make room up there, drop word "List" from "Video List/Twin Cinema"
6. Move the Pigclickin movie over to Recall/Understand page (3-7-3).
7. On 1-1, move 2nd set of bullets items up one line. Also, update this second list with the items that currently reside in the Gold Bar area.

I'll write the the text for the first movie so that you see a bit of the second movie without scrolling.

1. In page "http://www.cc.gatech.edu/projects/DITC/gettingStarted/usingDITC/index.html", the title in red "Using DITC" should not become underlined when hovered over as a link would. When you click on it, however, it gives an error.
2. The correct format for making a title not clickable can be seen in "http://www.cc.gatech.edu/projects/DITC/gettingStarted/tapingClass/index.html". However, for this page, the wrong tab (near the top of the page) has been turned to gray – it should be the Getting Started tab, not Learn About Design that is shown as active.
3. Insert the movie "tapeClass.mov" to page "http://www.cc.gatech.edu/projects/DITC/gettingStarted/tapingClass/index.html".

2. It looks like the Web Links link in the Gold Bar navigation area does not work on any page. Put the content of "Web Resources" that currently appears under the Learn About Design into the Gold Bar's WebLinks page. Then change the name of this page to "Design-Related Activities" and have "Writing a Product History" as its first "daughter" page.

1. Smooth out the arc that you created with you widened the purple bar. Also, notice in a color printout that the yellow color may be wrong in the small yellow square beneath that arc - check the printout I left on your desk with finished edits.
2. Widen the three tabs, and put gifs for the titles of the three tabs, since the font on Tabs sometimes changed to Times and looks smaller than the sans serif font I usually see.
3. Put small graphic of Timeline as the first graphic of page gettingStarted/keyFeatures/keyFeatures.html.
4. In the two parachute Timelines, put the Day 1, Day 2... labels in the blue circles, and why not start with Day 1 already selected. Could have the red title "Day 1" to the left, and instructions for selecting other movies on the Timeline to the right.
5. Create a 5-frame clickable strip art, which I think work quite well and is pleasing to the eye, for page designProcess/assessmentStandards/index.html.
6. Show me how to resize the bottom border for the movie info boxes – sometimes I want them to go further down to avoid a single last line of text moving to the far left of the page – see bakingsoda/index; designTasks/cChair/index.html.
7. Ginger suggested that we make all the rollovers in the Purple and Teal bars turn to gold, the same color as the selected item in the main tabs. Right now they turn burgundy.
8. The Bibliography page has the name "Movie List" – please change to biblio.html when you get the chance.

1. Creae a Timeline navigation graphic for Cardboard Chair, similar to Parachute. This will get rid of the lowest level of choices in the beige navigational bar, which is good.

1. The Main Info box is not lined up to the sculpted colored gradient above it. The box is indented further away from the left-edge of the page than the art above it. Can you line them up?
2. The designTasks/index page is too wordy. Let's try to go for a 2x2 grid with two pictures side-by-side, and really short text underneath it.
3. For the Parachute>StudentWork page, I don't think you need to break up the reports into two pages, do you? If you can fit it on one page, then you won't need another layer of navigation, appearing at the top of the main info box.
Note: #1 is obsolete because we are probably getting rid of the content box

1. On Site Map, I don't think the items that are clickable should be underlined. Actually, some are and some aren't. Please put some dummy text right under the title, and then I'll input some ideas there. You can see the bad link when you click on "Key Concepts" and you can see the inactive link when you click on the "Full-Sized Cardboard Chair" in the purple navigation bar. It looks like this link is not always active in other pages as well.
Paper Bridge
5. Put dummy text above and below Timeline graphic, which you need to create, for the paperBridge/index page. Show me how you do this when we get the chance.
6. The movie on paperBridge/videoTimeline/day1 should be on Day 2. There are three movies that need to be put on Day 1's page: papBrdg1a.mov, papBrdg1b.mov, and papBrdg1c.mov. Also on this page, the text "Video Timeline" in the green navigational bar is not hot and needs to be.
7. When you click on the purple bar's Cardboard Chair link, and then click on its Timeline, you immediately go to the first page of the Timeline. This does not happen when you first click on the purple bar's Paper Bridge link, and then click on its Timeline. Please make Paper Bridge work like Cardboard Chair.

8. The problem of links being inactive in #4 and #6 above are similar – where the link 1 level up in the hierarchy is not active. Please check all such links throughout the site.

2. For the new "Playing Movies" page, get the most current version of the movie that Bryan made for me for use in Greece, which shows how to play movies, rather than using stills.

Move all contents within "Design Strategies" from Student Work to Design Process. Finally, change the name of the subItem "Naive Design Strategies" found under Design Process to "Naive Designers".

I have a "working" login system - though far from complete. You may visit

to see - there is also a link the registration page on the login page, so you can view it too. The main problem right now is security. Its got a few loopholes in it that need to be fixed. We have to submit the scripts to the CoC to be put on the external server so they may be viewed outside of Georgia Tech's network. In order to do that, they must be completely secure. So thats something for me to continue working on.
