Temperature Sensors
The PointSix Temperature sensors are wireless devices that periodically transmit the temperature to a proprietary radio receiver. The device passes the readings on to the host via serial (RS-232). The documentation of the protocol from the manufacturer can be found here.
Thomas Shanks currently has a Java class that decodes the temperature data packets and dumps the output.
The PointSix sensor architecture also allows other types of sensors. Support for them in the future is a possibility.
