In general I liked this chapter. I did think that it was a bit to short though. I'd like to have a slightly more indepth explanation of XP. It's possible that just referencing http://c2.com/cgi/wiki?ExtremeProgramming would be good enough.
I do like the idea that you're going to include code examples.

Thank you for your reviews and thoughtful comments. Concrete examples are being incorporated into the chapter. We are folding in some of the remaining material we have, including scanned-in project artifacts and screen shots.
We may not be able to incorporate all your suggestions in the next iteration. We are planning one or two very quick iterations (about a week each). The first such (post draft) iteration ends on or about June 3, 2000. Subsequent iterations will last about two weeks each until the deadline of August 1, 2000 (less than 2 months hence!).
