Process Spring 2002 Overall Course Assessment
The course has three main components, with the following percentage of the grade assigned to each.
- Lab 25% - consists of five lab reports each worth 5%
- Project 20% - consists of four reports each worth 5%
- Lecture 55% this is broken down into:
- Homework 15%, this will be significant and involve writing Matlab programs as well as theoretical work and some contributions to the coweb. The homework assignments will be somewhat biased towards the start of the semester, this reflects try to balance the workload, and also because failing to grasp the material at the start of the semester leads to huge problems later on.
- Midterms 20%, there will be two of these each worth 10%. One will be focused on dynamic modeling and the other on feedback control.
- Final 20% This will be comprehensive.
