Saturday Activities
Saturday afternoon, the activities are up to you! What would you like to see while you're in Atlanta that will help you make your decision?
Some suggestions:
- Taste of Atlanta - Centennial Olympic Park, Aquarium, World of Coca-Cola, Underground Atlanta, etc.
- Tour of Homes - See different apartments that graduate students live in to get an idea where you might want to live
- Recreational activity - trip to Piedmont Park, hiking, Lake Lanier
- Campus Tour - see different places around campus, like bookstore, student center, CRC
- Museum Tour - High Museum (art), Fernbank Science Museum/IMAX, Aquarium
- Social activity - arcade, mini golf, ice cream
- See a show at a local establishment - Dad's Garage Improv, Fox Theater, etc
- Would anyone be up for John Digweed at Eleven50. This would be Saturday night (starts at 9pm, though digweed doesn't show till 11pm).

I think we should do the Tour of Homes and then the Taste of Atlanta if we have time.
I definitely want to see the aquarium. I'd also like to see neighborhoods where graduate students live (and get practical tips on lining up apartments in Atlanta). I want to see the campus, especially the bookstore and the new exercise facility. If there is time, I'd like to see Piedmont Park and canoe in Lake Lanier (can you do that?). And I want to see Professor Stasko's koi pond. ;)
All suggestions are very nice but I think that the tour of homes is a must. There will be plenty of opportunities to explore the campus, the city, social establishments, etc, after we move to Atlanta in August, but only a few to visit possible housing options before we actually have to pick one.
I would benefit from a tour of the campus and some places where students live.
I would be up for (in order of priority)
1)Campus Tour
2)Taste of Atlanta
We should have a poker game.
Tour of homes, definitely.
Outdoorsy stuff
