collaborative Dynabooks

A Dynabook is a computer that can be used as a tool for composing and experiencing dynamic media for the goal of learning. The original vision of the dynabook led to the creation of "the first object oriented programming language, Smalltalk, and created the first personal computer." The CSL Lab shares the vision of the dynabook and takes it further by exploring ways a dynabook can be used as a collaborative learning tool. The challenge of the project is not just to create collaborative multimedia, but to use this creation to explore the power of learning in a social setting.
