Milestone 4 - Team Blumpkin
For Milestone 4, we had to keep all the features from Milestone 3, Milestone 2, and Milestone 1, as well as add one more major feature. In addition, we had to polish our user interface, by simply making the presentation look nice. For more details on Milestone 4, click here, We choose to implement the template builder, as well as the full screen mode features for our Milestone 4.
The screenshot below is a good example of our features of automatically resizing text (the top textbox), the ability to change the font name and color (the left text box), and the ability to change the font color (the right textbox). Notice also the new, improved user interface. For Milestone 3, you had to click on the hard-to-find "plus button" at the top of the presentation in order to access the different presentation features. In Milestone 4, this has been changed, as the menus are much easier to reach, as they are right at the top (File, Edit, Insert, Go) of the presentation.

Below, you will see another screenshot, this one of the actual template builder. Notice how you can change the background color, the title font/color, subtitle font/color, and the body font/color. Clicking on Save Template creates a new template, so that way you can switch back and forth between templates.

You will see another screenshot right below, this one of the full screen mode feature. When you choose "Show Full Screen" from the File menu, the presentation asks for the number of minutes of the presentation and expands the presentation to take up the entire screen. It then starts the timer widget (from M1) and counts down until the end of the presentation.

Looking back on Milestone 4, there are a few things that we should have done differently. First of all, we should have started earlier, as we ran into problems that should have been minor, but become major when lack of time was an issue. For example, the textboxes stopped resizing themselves after we applied changes from a new template (changing font name/size).
