network coding hints/examples

So what I have attached is a .st file (attws.st) with some network code.

The file contains one class category named ATTWS for (AT&T Wireless).

There are two classes in this category: WebGrabber & ATTWS.

WebGrabber contains a class message "GrabHtmlFromUrl:" which retreives the information for the three other class methods. If you are having trouble figuring out where to get started in getting information from the web, check out and play with the code in this class.

ATTWS does a little more than WebGrabber. The class message "sendTextMessage: msg to: to from: from subject: subject" is designed to send a text to an AT&T wireless cell phone. Use this at your own risk!!! What this demonstrates is how to use forms on web pages. If you are having trouble figuring out how to submit a query to a web page, compare my code in sendTextMessage with the source html for the following webpage: http://www.mobile.att.net/messagecenter.

Good luck! If you have any questions about how to send queries to web pages feel free to post them to the questions page.

Hmm, nobody noticed How to Mine Web Pages? Too bad... It walks people through exactly this stuff pretty thoroughly. -Lex Spoon
