Cool books? Bad books? Interesting books? What do you read when you're not reading about Squeak?
Well, I would suggest anything by Robert Anton Wilson. He manages to deftly mix philosophy, surrealism, and sex scenes aplenty. Flatterland, by Ian Stewart. Sequel to Flatland
Like the movie? Reading this book is as fun (or better) than seeing the movie!
From the Dust Returned Ray Bradbury
ethereal and dreamy, great diversion from studies
all books from Haruki Murakami
American Gods by Neil Gaiman
The Moon Is a Harsh Mistress by Robert Heinlein. Any of Heinlein's novels for that matter. The Sixth Column and Stranger in a Strange Land are both good as well.
1984 by George Orwell
Powerful book, pretty depressing/disturbing though. I guess a lot of people have read it for school, but somehow it was never assigned in any class I've taken. If you missed it to, go read it. Andrew Orlando
