Cool books? Bad books? Interesting books? What do you read when you're not reading about Squeak?

Well, I would suggest anything by Robert Anton Wilson. He manages to deftly mix philosophy, surrealism, and sex scenes aplenty.

Flatterland, by Ian Stewart. Sequel to Flatland

A Clockwork Orange by Anthony Burgess

The Princess Bride by William Goldman
From the Dust Returned Ray Bradbury

all books from Haruki Murakami

American Gods by Neil Gaiman

The Moon Is a Harsh Mistress by Robert Heinlein. Any of Heinlein's novels for that matter. The Sixth Column and Stranger in a Strange Land are both good as well.

John Lyon

1984 by George Orwell
Powerful book, pretty depressing/disturbing though. I guess a lot of people have read it for school, but somehow it was never assigned in any class I've taken. If you missed it to, go read it.
