Hey guys! I'm a second year CS student and this will be my first time TA-ing. Last semester I tutored 1301 and 1316 so I have a pretty good feel for the class already.
Last semester i was involved with undergraduate research in the 4D Cities group, lead by Frank Dellaert. The group is constructing a 4 Dimensional (the 4th being time) model of Atlanta from thousands of photographs taken over the past 100 years. I was in charge of exporting these model files into a format readable by Google Earth. It was a great experience and I definitely plan to continue undergrad research.
As far as hobbies? Well most of them kinda went out the door when I came to tech lol. I still try to read on breaks though. I'm currently in the middle of the 4th book of the Wheel of Time series by Robert Jordan. I would suggest them to anyone that enjoys fantasy novels! I used to play World of Warcraft and a whole slew of other MMORPG's but again... just don't have the time here at tech to keep up with games.
