What a great place to ask questions about the assigned reading!

Not exactly on topic, but since we're talking sound, I thought I'd ask. Is there a way to convert a MIDI file to a wav file? Not trying to do this in JES, just in general, so I can make mp3s of them. Jeff Baker

Yup – tools like QuickTime Pro (http://www.apple.com/quicktime) can do this, both Windows and Macintosh versions. Ask me on Wednesday and I can explain how it does it. Mark Guzdial

Recitation- my collage is turned in. I understood everything. What will be covered in recitation today? Could we discuss midterm anwsers? Hand back and/or dicuss the quizzes? #12
