Spring 2008 Lab 4 Questions

Questions, comments, or concerns?

Do we need to provide citations for our research?
If you would like for citations to be one of your slides, then yes. Otherwise, just mention who wrote it. You aren't required to have formal citations. Thanks! Brittany Duncan

can you please re-open the quiz from t-square.... the one about the final? i thought we had til midnight tonight, like the lab, but i guess it's closed????
Done. Thanks! Brittany Duncan

If we're making our powerpoint using Microsoft Office 2007, can we turn it in as a .pptx file or do we need to save it as a 2003 template?
Please submit both. This will cover you in case it doesn't save correctly in the 2003 format. Thanks! Brittany Duncan

Should we still name it lab 3 if it is the fourth lab?
No. I changed the instructions, thanks for pointing that out. Thanks! Brittany Duncan

Do we need to research how computer science relates to the subject? or just general information about that subject? thanks
Research or at least show, how Computer Science relates to the topic Toni Walden

what exactly do you want us to draw? can it just be word art?
No, we want you to use the draw tools to create something. What you create doesn't really matter as long as it is relevant. Thanks! Brittany Duncan

Using the draw tools, does the object need to be on a separate slide or can it be on one with some of the information?
Usually, presenters like to mix graphics with topical text, so it's okay to mix like this. Colin Potts

Would Wikipedia be an okay source for this assignment, or should we use something else?
For this assignment, it would be okay, as the main focus of the assignment isn't the research itself (and Wikipedia is always a useful first stop), but the presentation. But don't make a habit of relying on Wikipedia for research for other assignments! Colin Potts

what quiz on t-square was that person talking about? I have looked all over t-square and can't find it. thanks!
The T-square quiz was only for Monica's section and has been closed since last week. Thanks! Brittany Duncan
