The original instructions. Not the ones for 2007. Thanks! Brittany Duncan
Please see a TA and show them what is going on. I can't diagnose an error without seeing it. Thanks! Brittany Duncan
I know that in Excel 2007, the buttons are pretty frustrating to use, which is why the instructions recommend typing in the range of cells manually. If you're using Excel 2003, the same procedure should work. Take a look at the Excel 2007 instructions for this part of the lab and see if that's any help. Joshua Cuneo
There should not be one for the first day, but there should be one for the last day. It should be calculated based on the day before. Thanks! Brittany Duncan
It is there now. Sorry for the hold-up. Thanks! Brittany Duncan
Please don't post a question more than one time in a row. That is very frustrating and rude. Thanks! Brittany Duncan
Are you using Excel 2007? If so, follow those directions for saving the graph. I don't know why you are having that problem with the .txt file, but please see a TA regarding this. Thanks! Brittany Duncan
This is not a problem with the lab. You need to save the spreadsheet as an Excel workbook (you could use Save As...). Simply giving the file the extension .xls doesn't turn a text file into a spreadsheet. Colin Potts
I don't know whether you're asking about the column label for the motion below the close column or the formula that you're supposed to use. In either case, the point is to figure these out yourself based on the preceding steps for motion above the close. If you're stuck on this point, I suggest contacting a TA over IM or seeing one during office hours. Sorry that we can't be more help on this page. Joshua Cuneo
