| Jennifer, I use a Mac. You have to start JES differently than I did in class on Windows. You need to open the Terminal application (it's in the Utility folder inside of Applications). You need to "cd" to the directory where you put JES, so it'll be something like "cd /Users/jennifer/jes" Hit return. Then type "./jes" (That's period-slash-"jes"). Hit return. That should work.
