I could have sworn that we've had two pop quizzes. At least in Mark Guzdial's class we had one and then just a few days ago we had another when Colin Potts came and subbed for us.

There is a question about algorithims of chromakey and background substitution on the prequiz. We never went over that in class, right?
Not in much detail - at least not in my section. The main emphasis was discussing debugging. For the quiz and subsequent tests, you may need to know what chromakey is about and what it is for, but you don't have to reproduce the algorithm. Colin Potts

To be completely honest, question 6 confuses me. I feel like if the 'example' wasn't there I would be able to do it. Maybe that's the illusion... any suggestions on how to finish it?
Then ignore the example. The example is not reversing or silencing the sound. It's pretty much giving you a hint that you need to use 2 sounds. Think about a picture. How would you mirror the left half of a picture and turn the right half black? Amanda Bennett
I didn't understand what it meant by "reverse" or how to do it. Should we be playing the first half samples backwards?? and how?
Reverse is make that part of the sound play backwards. You do this by getting a sample at the end of the first half and putting it at the beginning, and so on. Amanda Bennett
I have a question about the reverse sound one too. Since I cant really describe it in words ill put it this way, if my sound was 1234 (and Im using 0 to represent silent) do you want our target sound to end up as 0021 or 2100 or something completely different?
2100 would be the correct way to do it. Amanda Bennett
