Tyler Meehan
Hey everybody, I'm Tyler Meehan. I was born in Jacksonville, Florida, but moved to Watkinsville, GA at the age of four.
Before you ask, let me go ahead and tell you: Watkinsville is Athens' next door neighbor. Before my fellow Tech students try and kill me for living near UGA, let me go ahead and tell you that I have no love for the Dogs (See? I didn't even spell dogs, 'dawgs'. I can't be a fan!). And in case you're wondering, UGA doesn't give a hoot about Tech. Seriously, they don't even acknowledge Tech's existence.
Anyways, I went to REMOVEDminster Christian Academy for all twelve years of school. It's a very small school - my graduating class was only 19 students strong - no, wait, one of the kids didn't graduate. Make that 18 students strong.
I am a freshman this year, and it is currently my plan to major in Computational Media. Since most people ask me what the heck that is, let me go ahead and tell you. It's making video games. It should probably come as no surprise to you, then, that I enjoy video games, primarily the Legend of Zelda series. Zelda rules. I also enjoy Star Wars, having a large collection of the books, about 80 of them total. Reading and playing computer/video games are my favored pasttimes, though every now and then I can find some reason to be social.
I visit several Zelda fansites on a daily basis, though my site of choice is http://www.desertcolossus.com/. I also enjoy RPG games, such as Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic for the PC and Kingdom Hearts I and REMOVED for the PS2. Being that I only own a Gamecube - my parents were never fond of the video gaming industry; it's a wonder I could get Nintendo's console. Oh well, it's got Zelda, so I'm happy. Speaking of which, I am on an online Zelda RPG, Hyrule Adventures 2, found on Desert Colossus. My username there is Alpha. In the reading/writing department, I enjoy my Star Wars books primarily, but also have dabbled in the stories of Stephen R. Lawhead, Dennis L. McKiernan, and Terry Brooks, to mention a few. I also spend a lot of time writing fan stories. Actually...I spend more time planning them. I've planned a twenty-part Zelda fanfic, each part of which contains 10-40 chapters. Right now I'm on...Chapter 5.
So...yeah. That's me. Get used to it.
Zelda rules.
Oh, and since I'm supposed to have this too:
