In this lab you will create a webpage on your Prism webspace.

Blake's XHTML tutorial

Your page must contain your name and prism ID prominently on the page
You must have a picture of yourself somewhere on the page
Your page must have a clickable link.
Your page must have a clickable picture link.
Your page must have a paragraph about yourself (or if you're paranoid, it can be a paragraph about anything)
Your page must conform to XHTML standards and use the following doctype:
<!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD XHTML 1.0 Transitional//EN" "http://www.w3.org/TR/xhtml1/DTD/xhtml1-transitional.dtd">

You must EITHER upload your page to your prism webspace at public_html/index.html such that when you visit www.prism.gatech.edu/~your_prism_id, we will see your smiling face OR if you do not want your page to be as public, you may upload it elsewhere on your prism web space as long as you email your TA the alternate URL.
You must include the following snippet of code somewhere on your page (usually at the bottom):

After you upload your code, when you click this icon, it will run your XHTML through a validator and tell you how many errors your HTML code has. You will lose 2 points per error.

For 5 points of extra credit, use the XHTML 1.0 Strict doctype instead of the XHTML 1.0 Transitional doctype:

For 5 points of extra credit, use a CSS style sheet
For 5 points of extra credit, put a table on your page that's at least 3 columns and 4 rows. You'll have to do independent research for this.

If you autogenerate your HTML with a program like Dreamweaver or Frontpage, you will get a 0. We can tell.
