Spring 2006 Comments - Week of Apr 17th

General questions and comments go here. Signed or unsigned, just let us know how things are going.

Why is some stuff censored in the bubble only when it relates to tech, but allowed when it doesn't. I find that unfair. Can tech not handle criticism?
It depends on what the other individuals around you do. Keep in mind that the soapbox is open to editing by anyone. In general though, there is a policy for acceptable behavior and many things in the soapbox probably should be censored. In any event please visit the Statement on Acceptable Behavior. Larry Olson
Anyone higher up than me want to comment on this? Larry Olson

Why is it that the CoWeb site seems to indicate that there are 5 pop quizes (5% of grade at 1% a pop) while webwork now insists there are 6?

So if Frank's class got an extra quiz (7 total) to get the best 5, what will Colin's class get? I was/am in Colin's class, and I was just wondering how that will be worked out. Are we just going to have the best 4 for Colin's class? or am I just plum out of luck with that extra quiz? Please let me know what's going on? Thanks.
Colin's class is best 5 of 6 quizzes -Albert d'Heurle

I am in Colin's class, but it shows that I have 7 pop quizzes, does that mean it's the same as the other class now, with top 5?
Webwork is going to show grades for 7 quizzes, please ignore the column for the 7th quiz if you are in Colin's class. Thanks -Albert d'Heurle
