so A looks only at a 100x100 pixel square in a picture while the question is asking how a function would affect all of the pixels in a picture
and B looks at any pixels with blue, not only pixels with blue > 100
and C doesn't work either because you can have a pixel with a blue value greater than 100 that won't necessarily be changed to a value of 0 (like if a pixel has blue as 101, then the distance will be 1 which is 100 and it won't be changed to 0)
and D of course is the right answer, as was already stated

is all of this right?

Good. Mind you, A doesn't JUST fail to iterate over the entire picture, concentrating instead only on the top-left 100x100 square of pixels; it also doesn't make the right changes even to THAT set of pixels. And B doesn't just pick out pixels with ANY blue, instead of blues over 100; it also sets the blue values of the pixels it selects incorrectly. Colin Potts
