I am a first year here at Georgia Tech. I am a INTA/Japanese major and I'm minoring in French. I'm not exactly sure what this paragraph is supposed to be about other than a hackneyed paragraph about my hobbies, so I don't think I'll write about that. Instead I'll put forth reference for the current and continuing slaughter in Iraq:

Some of the most respected professionals in their field such as Noam Chomsky (professor at MIT) or Arundhati Roy (writer) contribute to this site. While obviously biased, (after all they are editorials), this site gives insight into another side of our arguably shielded school.

Here is a table of figures for the current situation:

Fact
Number
Source
Years that Iraq has had chemical and biological weapons:
20
Zmag
Number of U.S. and European corporations that
supplied Iraq with materials and knowledge to make
chemical and biological weapons
since the early 1980s:
150
Zmag
Number of Western nations that condemned
Saddam Hussein in 1988 immediately after he used
gas in the Kurdish town of Halabja in 1988
to kill an estimated 5,000 people:
0
Zmag
Number of pounds of Agent Orange and
other herbicides U.S. dropped in the Vietnam War:
100,000,000
Zmag

On a lighter note (remaining on the same subject) there is a great site called get your war on here is a sample, click on it if you want more (this was one of the only ones without crude language [because it is supposed to be set in the 80's and I guess they didn't use profanity then?] so if you're easily offended by language don't click for more):
