Fall 2005 Comments - Week of August 29

This coweb.cc.gatech.edu/cs1315 website is running very slow for me. Some links like the media sources in lab2 are "timing out". I am on a fast ethernet (the Federal Government's internet), so other websites have no problem including gatech.edu. Any ideas as to the problem?

Sometimes the coweb goes down temporarily. This is probably what happened. If it happens all the time and not just occasionally, then it's probably something else, thought I'm not sure what it could be. Student1594

Website is still very slow and the Power Point slide links do not work. They fail to load. I have tried both IE and REMOVEDfire.

It's not doing that when I open the site and I've done it on 5 different computers using 3 different web browsers in the past week. I'd guess that it's got something to do with your computer. Try seeing what processes you have running on the computer. You might have a virus or somethat that is taking all your processing speed. Otherwise, I'm not sure what to tell you. If you've got a laptop, bring it to class or somoeone's office hours and maybe they can figure it out there. Student1594
