Barnes and Noble has just ordered the second edition of the class text. Engineer's Bookstore on Marietta should have received their second shipment today (Wednesday). You can get the book there.

When you click on Syllabus and Lecture slides, you can look for both start and due dates on things. They are both listed on that page. The due dates for each project will be listed in the next weeks schdule most of the time... Larry Olson

Please don't turn lab 2 in yet. We're still working on the TA list and matchups to students. Also a reminder, please purchase and register your PRS unit as soon as possible.

You may now turn in Lab 2. If you are still having with the turnin process, please go to JES Turnin Problems and state your problem along with your GT #. Do NOT email the assignment to your TA.

If you are still having problems turning in the assignment, you may upload it manually, look under the JES Turnin Problems page for detail instructions. Angela Liang

I really appreciate how someone deleted my announcement a few minutes after I posted it, especially just to say "CS1315 sucks". I've been sitting in the CoC commons wondering why no one came especially since the homework is due in an hour and a half. I will be here till about 6 (RUN). Please, if a TA or instructor posts an announcment on the Soapbox, LEAVE IT until it doesn't apply anymore. While the verbiage referring to osculation might be a bit vulgar, I have to agree that there are at least two dozen things more pertinent to the rest of my career than this class. Like bunnie grooming.

More people came to my office hours tonight than all my previous office hours combined including last semester. Due to the high demand from HW4 I will be extending my office hours tomorrow. I will be at the campanile (student center 2nd floor if it rains) at my normal time (from 1 to 2) then I will be available in the CoC commons (picnic table area) from 2-4 and 5-7. -Blake O'Hare

I wish we got to see what we missed on labs and homeworks, so that we could learn from it, even if there were only simple mistakes.

It's a bit late now, but when you want to know what you missed, you should e-mail a TA and ask them. We'd be more than happy to show you where you lost points. This applies to all classes that you take in the future. Okay, how exactly do you guys count PRS units? Please be more specific... thanks!!
Your grade will be calculated with the PRS out of a 100. Then your grade will be calculated without the PRS out of 95. Whichever percentage is better will be your grade. -Blake O'Hare

Is it at all possible final exam grades on webwork are incorrect? As in higher than I actually received? I'm not as confident as my grade reflects...

When will final course grades be available for student viewing on Oscar?
