If you are a Mac user and you have any problems post them here.
The mac experts while few in number are strong in spirit and they
will assist you in whatever way they can.
I am looking for 512MB ram to buy.. Dose anybody know where has cheap prices??
I checked the apple store and their price was around $200..
The Apple Store tends to be a bit pricer than other places; if you google for "Apple RAM" or something to that effect, you can often find other places that sell compatible memory chips.

and I have another question... where i can turn off or diactivate keychain?? I forgot the password of it (I changed adm. password and my new password dose not unlock the kechain) and it keep pops up... so annoying...
Check out "Keychain Access", which is available in Applications/Utilities. It has a lot of options with regard to your keychain. If your admin password is different from your regular user password, then I think regular user password is probably the one you want.

Every time I bring my PowerBook (OS X Version 10.4.3, using an AirPort Extreme wireless card with firmware version 404.2 (3.90.34.0.p16)) back from sleep or turn it on I have to re-enter the GTwireless network when I'm at GT. It always automatically connects to Fastpass, and doesn't even show GTwireless until I add the network. Is anyone familliar with this problem or how to fix it? I tried using the AirPort admin utility, the AirPort setup assistant, and Internet Connect, but none really work. Thanks.
Thats just how the LAWN works to my knowledge. (If by reenter you mean relogin using a browser or a script). Or do you have to actually reenter all data including the WEP Key and everything else ? Larry Olson

Relating to the AirPort question, I don't mean just logging in, I mean entering 'GTwireless' and the WEP key, etc. Thanks for your help.
I just got my first mac last week and wanted to install jes on it. Can someone walk me through it, OS X doesnt have a clue what to do with jes.3.sit.
Never mind, stuffit for expanding worked great. god im never going back to windows.
MovieMaker isnt working on my iBookG4. I downloaded it from the site and it automatically unzipped. I then tried to open the program but it only opened it on text editor, not as its own program. Ive tried redownloading too. What's going on?
we did that in class today but i still cant figure out how to make it work. somebody help!
