Below are pictures that I've taken of students in this class, as demonstrations. I'd like to use some of them in future semesters, both in the slides and in the course notes (and probably eventual book). (I love my family, but you'd probably like me to use some other examples, too. :-)

You do not have to give me permission!.

If you are willing, please:

Add your name under the pictures that you're in. (Just type your name in the box and click to the Add to Page button.)
Send me email at mailto:guzdial@cc.gatech.edu to let me know that I have your permission. THIS PART IS IMPORTANT!. If I only have your name below, I don't know that you gave me permission. Anybody could've written your name down. Your note can be simply, "You have my permission to use my picture in the future slides for CS1315 and the notes/book."

This way, if I don't get permission, the names never show up and I never know the name-picture association, so there's no pressure. If you do give me permission, I'll match up emails to pictures. If I don't get names for all the people in a picture, I won't use the picture. I will acknowledge and thank all those who give me permission in the acknowledgements section of the book.
