| A PRS unit is basically a small remote control that you will bring to class. There are receivers in the class so when you press a button, the receiver detects it and what you pressed is recorded. These PRS units are numbered, and yours will be uniquely linked to you, so these are used for pop quizzes/attendance recording purposes. Student1594 |
| JES does download, but it's big. You're better off buying the book and using the CD that comes in the back. It's on there, too. There's nothing wrong with downloading JES with Windows ME – it's just a question whether or not it will run. Windows ME is old, slow, and incompatible with newer software. If JES on its own won't work, you can try the console-lomem128 version – that will often work if you have too little memory or have a more senior computer. Mark Guzdial |
