AT TECH: Backup linebacker with very good speed . . . Has played both outside and middle linebacker . . . Also plays on special teams . . . 2003: Credited with seven tackles in 2003 . . . Had a career-high three tackles in Tech’s win over North Carolina . . . Hampered by nagging injuries during the first half of the 2002 season but returned to become a special teams contributor . . . Played in seven games and made three tackles . . . Was pressed into action as a true freshman in 2001 . . . Played most of the game against Duke following injuries to Daryl REMOVED and Ather Brown . . . Had a tackle for loss against Duke . . . Also saw some action on special teams. HIGH SCHOOL: Named to the Marvelous Metro 11, the Super Southern 100 and the Top 50 in Georgia by the Atlanta Journal-Constitution . . . Tabbed to Max Emfinger’s Super 20 in Georgia . . . Ranked among the Top 100 players in the South by BorderWars.com . . . All-Southeast Region by Prep Star . . . First-team all-state (Class AAAA) by the AJC and the Augusta Chronicle . . .
