I recently went to see Munich, this movie is beyond good in my opinion. Not only does it have action and romance, but it is a psychological thriller. There is one part at the end, that seems to be a little strange, but the rest of the movie is really good, i recommend going to see it as soon as you can. Student3653
I hated BAD SANTA!!! The move was just not funny! I like creative humor. I felt like my IQ dropped just because I was in the theater!
Go see THE ROCKY HORROR PICTURE SHOW on Friday nights at the theater off Ponce. Student1274
Two Weeks Notice is one of the funniest movies I've seen in a long time. It's really cute. Maid in Manhatten wasn't bad either, but the first was much better!
I thoroughly enjoyed Lord of the Rings: Two Towers.
Gangs of New York was the worst movie I saw last year. It tried to incorporate way too many themes and it lost sight of a central point over and over. Daniel Day Lewis was good [acting wise] in this movie but that was about it. I hope it does not win many Golden Globes because it would be undeserving. -Whitney Watts
JUST MARRIED was awesome!! Girls, take the boyfriend to see it. :)
Adaptation was one of the best movies I've seen in a while. It was thoughtful, not preachy, and subtle. The filmmaker did not talk down to the audience– you have to figure it out for yourself!
Catch Me If You Can was great. I wasn't so sure about it before we went. It turned out great. Good plot. Sorta long but its interesting.
Two Weeks Notice was a terrible movie and I wouldn't watch it if it came on cable>
Catch Me If You Can, How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days, and The Recruit all were awesome!!
Lord of the Rings is aweful and any girl that has to suffer through that with their boyfriend should be heavily rewarded.
About Schmit was pretty good if you don't get bored too easily. It is a very realistic depiction of an older man's life after retirement. Go see it.
I'll agree with whoever made the post about girlfriends suffering through Lord of the Rings! I had to go with my fiance and his twin brother! It was three-hour long torture! I hate that little Golem guy!
How To Lose A Guy In 10 Days.....classic:) Now if only I can do all those things...
Wait a minute.... girls, I went to see BOTH Lord of the Rings and I LOVED it!!!!!!!! I thought that Strider and the Elf (Orlando Bloom) were especially CUTE!!!!!!!!!!!!! It was also a really good storyline....I liked it!!!!!
Also, I thought Golem was funny as hell!!!!
bad boy REMOVED - it is good for killing time. U don't need to think. Just go to see it!!
American wedding was funny
I absolutely loved "How to lose a guy in 10 days." I think Kate Hudson is so funny and Matthew McConahey isn't too hard to look at!!
Lord of the Rings REMOVED and the second Matrix were both good movies. I can't wait for the next ones to come out. Jeremy Muyres
American Wedding made me laugh, but also has a sweet underlying theme.
The Ususal Suspects is one of the best movies I've seen since I have been at Tech. It makes you think.
Freaky Friday was suprisingly funny and entertaining...
Pirates of the Carribean is good for entertainment, and
The Italian Job is definately worth renting if you havent seen it yet.
I saw the movie 28 Days Later and it was so scary I was shaking in the theatre. If you like to be scared i would definately recommend this film. The content and the style of this film are both killer, check it out ASAP!
REMOVED addition to the 28 Days Later, the DVD is awesome. Includes deleted scenes and the 2 alternate endings. This film is so much more than just a horror flick, to me it represents the struggle of humanity vs. technology and what it means to be human and the true aspects of human nature. Student1120
Stuck on You was a funny, and surprisingly romantic movie... you should see it.
I want to let people know about Kill Bill Vol. 1. At first glance you may think this movie is terrible. Nothing could be further from the truth. I was forced into seeing it to pass the time when I got stuck at the movies one day. I had already seen everything else so I thought why not. I was amazed at how well this movie was done. It is very bloody and gorey yes, but it is all in good fun. This movie is supposed to be a tribute to low budget B movies. Go see it, or rent the DVD when it comes out. You won't be disappointed. Kill Bill Vol.2 : Februrary Student1038
I wouldn't watch Jackass the movie if it were playing in my glasses.
I suggest that everyone go see Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King. It was awesome!
And you might think that its a kiddy movie, but everyone should also see Finding Nemo. It is great! Its so funny!
Everyone should go check out the movie Gothika starring Halle Berry. This movie is full of supense and excitement...with a great ending! - Student1051
Cheaper by the Dozen is mediocre It makes for a few good laughs
Bad Santa is the funniest movie ever. Definitely the best movie I've seen recently. Wouldn't take my kids to see it, but I laughed the whole time. Sam Elrod
blah
SWAT is so exciting, I loved it and I'll probably see it again. Student1106
Love Actually is a great movie!!! Student1223
Don't waste your time with "Once upon a time in Mexico." It's a horrible attempt at a sequel for "Desperado." The plot is then and confusing, if at all existent, and the action scenes become laughable by the end of the flick. This movie definitely qualifies as "two hours of my life I'm never getting back!" im never going to ever watch the oscars again if peter jackson doesnt win best director for return of the king - Student1272

I thought that Lord of the Rings: Return of the King was awesome, although it doesn't follow exactly with the book, for people who have never read it, it's a really good "summary". haha. I saw it with my family and my sister's fiance.
Freaky Friday was a surprisingly awesome movie.
Pirates of the Caribbean is AWESOME, so hilarious. I expected it to be scary, but it wasn't really.
Oh, I saw the movie Swing Kids recently. It's an interesting movie about kids in Germany during the tiem right before the war when the Nazi's were gaining power (I think specifically 1939), and it's about like how they recruited young men and about those who stood against them and stuff. It was a really enlightening movie and I think it was pretty well done. It's got some very dramatic moments, as you might imagine, but I recommend it. Jennifer Garrett
THE DINNER GAME—a funny FRENCH movie about a contest of who can bring the biggest idiot to dinner
other faves:
THE FIFTH ELEMENT
THE CONTE OF MONTE CRISTO Mireille Murad
See the Butterfly Effect. It is so aweome. It messes with your head a bit and makes you think. You never know what to expect and the end is a shock. I always thought Ashton Kutcher was a bit of a joke, but this movie proves he may actually be able to act for real. Kristin Noell
na not the one scarface is the movie
who remembers cool runnings???
ETERNAL SUNSHINE OF THE SPOTLESS MIND is amazing, funny, and beautiful Micah J McLain
Finding Nemo
Antwon Fisher is a great movie. It is Denzel's directing debut. That movie had real oscar potential. Kudos to Denzel. Student1918
Hey, my favorite movie is "Antwon Fisher," too! I don't have an unfavorite movie; every movie suits me well. Victor Du
If you want to save yourself a couple hours torture, don't see the Haunted Mansion. It will make you cry that Eddie Murphy is making such garbage. Student1982
One of my new favorite movies is 'Minority Report'. It is one of the better science fiction movies. The movie is fast, thought provoking, visualy stimulating, and has a excelent ending. WATCH IT!!
I thought "REMOVED Black Book" was a good movie, despite the miserable $7 million it made its opening weekend.
I think one of the best movies in existence is "Basic"! It is one of the ONLY movies that managed to keep me guessing until the very end. It is the perfect mix of action, suspense, drama, and intrigue! If you haven't seen it... (quoting Christina Wilson) WATCH IT!! Student2016
Eurotrip is not worth seeing.
The best movie I saw all summer was The Village. I can't remember a really bad one, but Spiderman 2 was kinda disappointing. Student2177
Truffaut films: The 400 Blows, Jules & Jim. Also must see The Iron Giant. Brad Bird is the man behind the curtain of the past 15 years of cartoon animation.
One word: "Airplane." Probably the funniest movie ever made (if you're into slapstick comedy). Student2512
"Closer" is a good film, but not one to see with your parents. Student2518
"REMOVED Noise" is one of the worst movies I've ever seen. It's bad even for Michael Keaton. "Phantom of the Opera", on the other hand, was incredible. They did a great job of sticking to Andrew Lloyd Weber's play and music, and I think it turned out really well. Brittany Wickham
Eternal Sunshine of the spotless mind is an awesome movie, also Garden State aims to please. Just saw Finding Neverland–really good, but if you were hoping to finally see a full-frontal of hottie Johnny Depp, it is sadly rated PG and there is little or no romance involved :(. Anyone who admits to liking The Village should be drug into the street and shot; by far M. Night Shymalan's worst film to date. Student2437
~~
I think that Wes Anderson's newest "The Life Aquatic" was freaking awsome. Also if you want to poop your pants from laughter you should see "Napoleon Dynamite"... it's sweet! House of Flying Daggers for the men. and Finding Neverland for a date with the ladies. Student2741
Grandma's boy is probably the funniest movie in years, get hopped up on your substance of choice and laugh your ass off Kara Knight
I recently went to see Will Ferrell’s new movie Talladega Nights. I thought it was a riot. There are some typical Will Ferrell stupid but slightly funny scences, but overall it kept me laughing the whole time. I would definitely recommend going to see it! Kara Knight
Jagshemash! I am just seeing Borat: Cultural Learnings of America for Make Benefit Glorious Nation of Kazahkstan. Is nice. Why not? I like it! Chengqui!
I really liked "Happy Feet," it was a really good movie for relaxing and enjoyment. It was better than i had expected and it was really entertaining.

The Bourne Supremacy was a REALLY good movie! So was Live Free or Die Hard. I hadn't seen either of the first movies from either series, but it didn't make it hard to watch at all. They were really entertaining and action packed. Caroline Kogan
'Alfie' (the original version) is a great film. Michael Caine is extremely funny and young. Also, his accent reminds me very much of Colin Potts' accent. Student5344
