Some poetry, anyone?

We could try a collaborative poem in which we each add no more than two words at a time...

And I'm wondering if we can have parallel poems following the two word limit, which, separated, make sense, but also work when read together...

Midnight sun	eery glow
cleaves night,	in two
thick halves	leaden clouds
hang over	wispy fields
ships swaying	like reeds
